A retired CIA agent is haunted by both the agency he once worked for and his own nightmares when an unknown man suddenly visits him after nearly three decades. Production was stopped in March 2020 due to government restrictions. During this time, Jeff Bridges was diagnosed and then treated for non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. After recovering, the show went back into production. Bridges referred to the return as coming back from a "long weekend" on a podcast in July 2022.. Featured on The 75th Primetime Emmy Awards (2024). I had high hopes, but 65% is overloaded with dialogue and reaction shots. We get the point, they are scared/worried/angry. No need to oversell. Episode 1-2 showed promise, but it looks like they didn’t spare any editing to help the series. They should play this for insomniacs who don’t respond to standard medications.
